Typical uses would be for creating email accounts, portal logins, or even Radius authentication accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Domain\"><\/span>Domain<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_domain&#8221; offers the ability to enter domain names into the system for use later in relation to defining &#8220;svc_account&#8221; entries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Certificate\"><\/span>Certificate<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_cert&#8221; provides storage of SSL certificate data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Forward\"><\/span>Forward<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_forward&#8221; provides an interface for the storage of email aliases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Mailing_List\"><\/span>Mailing List<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_mailinglist&#8221; allows for the storage of properties associated with a Mailing List server configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"World_Wide_Web\"><\/span>World Wide Web<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_www&#8221; provides for the storage of the configuration data associated to the configuration of a web server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Broadband\"><\/span>Broadband<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_broadband&#8221; provides for the storage of information related to an internet connection.  The definition fields are oriented towards being used by WISPs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cable\"><\/span>Cable<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_cable&#8221; provides for the storage of information related to the set-top-box provided by the cable modem provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"DSL\"><\/span>DSL<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_cable&#8221; provides for the saving of information related to the deployment of a DSL connection.  It allows for the entry of CLEC and ILEC data that identifies the circuit and configuration of the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dish\"><\/span>Dish<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_dish&#8221; allows for the storing of account number and installation information for Dish satellite service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hardware\"><\/span>Hardware<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_hardware&#8221; allows for storing information related to equipment deployed to the customer premise.  ie: modem, router, switches, APs, etc&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Phone\"><\/span>Phone<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_phone&#8221; provides a number of fields related to the porting, provisioning, and deployment of a phone number.  It may also include e911, LNP and SMS information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"PBX\"><\/span>PBX<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_pbx&#8221; stores the details related to the provisioning of a SIP\/VoIP trunk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Circuit\"><\/span>Circuit<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_circuit&#8221; stores the information related to ordering and deploying a physical &#8220;copper&#8221; circuit to the customer endpoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fiber\"><\/span>Fiber<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_fiber&#8221; stores the deployment data related to a fiber optic IP connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Port\"><\/span>Port<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_port&#8221; was created to store the Torrus serviceid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Alarm\"><\/span>Alarm<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_alarm&#8221; stores details related to a security or alarm system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"External\"><\/span>External<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Type &#8220;svc_external&#8221; stores a reference to a unique number for an external record.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Service Definition types.
